Drug Offenses

America’s war on drugs is a pathetic and misguided attempt by a self-righteous minority to regulate morality.  It has not worked, and the war on drugs will never work.  Defendants should be aware that the war on drugs is a myth.  The government agencies that claim to be engaged in a war on drugs ignore the fact that other agencies of the very same government are actually engaged in a war to sell drugs

Think about it for a minute: the United States Government as well as all 50 states regulate and derive revenue from the sale of alcohol and cigarettes.  These are both drugs.  Alcohol is a deadly narcotic that can cause tragic consequences leading up to and including death by overdose.  People can become addicted to alcohol and they can commit every sort of heinous act when under the influence of alcohol.  At the same time, these self-righteous hypocrites attempt to arrest, prosecute and imprison people who are found in possession of or trafficking in narcotics.

If you have been charged with a drug offense in Virginia, don’t leave your fate to chance, because chances are you will be found guilty and punished.  Let one of Virginia’s best criminal defense lawyers help fight the charges and get you the best outcome possible.  Contact Van Hardenbergh as soon as possible and get a free copy of his book – Virginia’s War on Drugs – How to Avoid Becoming a POW.  Even if your case is outside Van’s area, he can recommend an attorney that will work with you to fight the charges and get the best result possible.
